The intent of File::ShareDir is to provide a companion to Class::Inspector and File::HomeDir, modules that take a process that is well-known by advanced Perl developers but gets a little tricky, and make it more available to the larger Perl community.

To install p5.28-file-sharedir, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install p5.28-file-sharedir
To see what files were installed by p5.28-file-sharedir, run:
port contents p5.28-file-sharedir
To later upgrade p5.28-file-sharedir, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade p5.28-file-sharedir
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
