OpenFPC is a set of scripts that combine to provide a lightweight full-packet network traffic recorder & buffering tool. Its design goal is to allow non-expert users to deploy a distributed network traffic recorder on COTS hardware while integrating into existing alert and log tools.

To install openfpc, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install openfpc
To see what files were installed by openfpc, run:
port contents openfpc
To later upgrade openfpc, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade openfpc
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
