NGSolve is a general purpose Finite Element Library on top of Netgen. With the basic library one can solve heat flow equations, Maxwell equations, and solid mechanical problems. Several add-ons are available for particular application classes.

To install ngsolve, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install ngsolve
To see what files were installed by ngsolve, run:
port contents ngsolve
To later upgrade ngsolve, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade ngsolve
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
