ndiff assumes that you have two text files containing numerical values, and the two files are expected to be identical, or at least numerically similar. ndiff allows you to specify absolute and/or relative error tolerances for differences between numerical values in the two files, and then reports only the lines with values exceeding those tolerances. It also tells you by how much they differ.

To install ndiff, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install ndiff
To see what files were installed by ndiff, run:
port contents ndiff
To later upgrade ndiff, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade ndiff
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
