${prefix}/bin/mpicc-mpich-gcc9 (likewise mpicxx, ...)
To make mpich-devel-gcc9's wrappers the default (what you get when you execute 'mpicc' etc.) please run:
sudo port select --set mpi mpich-gcc9-fortran
