If this is your first install, you might want to enable mod_maxminddb in Apache:
cd ${prefix}/lib/apache2/modules
sudo ${prefix}/bin/apxs -a -e -n "maxminddb" mod_maxminddb.so
And then relaunch Apache:
$ sudo apachectl restart
