Mednafen is a portable, argument-driven multi-system emulator using OpenGL and SDL. Mednafen has the ability to remap hotkey functions and virtual system inputs to a keyboard, a joystick, or both simultaneously. Save states are supported, as is real-time game rewinding. Screen snapshots may be taken, in the PNG file format, at the press of a button. Mednafen can record audiovisual movies in the QuickTime file format, with several different lossless codecs supported.

To install mednafen, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install mednafen
To see what files were installed by mednafen, run:
port contents mednafen
To later upgrade mednafen, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade mednafen
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
