mactop is a terminal-based monitoring tool "top" designed to display real-time metrics for Apple Silicon chips. It provides a simple and efficient way to monitor CPU and GPU usage, E-Cores and P-Cores, power consumption, temperature, memory, network, disk, and other system metrics directly from your terminal.

To install mactop, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install mactop
To see what files were installed by mactop, run:
port contents mactop
To later upgrade mactop, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade mactop
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
