llvm_select installs files that allow 'port select' to switch the default version of llvm. It symlinks the standard llvm executables in the MacPorts prefix to the selected version.

To install llvm_select, paste this in macOS terminal after installing MacPorts
To install llvm_select, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install llvm_select
To see what files were installed by llvm_select, run:
port contents llvm_select
To later upgrade llvm_select, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade llvm_select
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
