Litestream is a standalone disaster recovery tool for SQLite. It runs as a background process and safely replicates changes incrementally to another file or S3. Litestream only communicates with SQLite through the SQLite API so it will not corrupt your database.

To install litestream, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install litestream
To see what files were installed by litestream, run:
port contents litestream
To later upgrade litestream, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade litestream
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
