libxkbcommon is a library to handle keyboard descriptions, including loading them from disk, parsing them and handling their state. It's mainly meant for client toolkits, window systems, and other system applications. It is also used by some XCB applications for proper keyboard support.

To install libxkbcommon, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install libxkbcommon
To see what files were installed by libxkbcommon, run:
port contents libxkbcommon
To later upgrade libxkbcommon, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade libxkbcommon
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
