kubeval is a tool for validating a Kubernetes YAML or JSON configuration file. It does so using schemas generated from the Kubernetes OpenAPI specification, and therefore can validate schemas for multiple versions of Kubernetes.

To install kubeval, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install kubeval
To see what files were installed by kubeval, run:
port contents kubeval
To later upgrade kubeval, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade kubeval
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
