KeepNote is a note taking application that works on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. With KeepNote, you can store your class notes, to-do lists, research notes, journal entries, paper outlines, etc. in a simple notebook hierarchy with rich-text formatting, images, and more. Using full-text search, you can retrieve any note for later reference.

To install keepnote, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install keepnote
To see what files were installed by keepnote, run:
port contents keepnote
To later upgrade keepnote, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade keepnote
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
