KDevelop is a free, open source IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for MS Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD. It is a feature-full, plugin extensible IDE for C/C++ and other programming languages. It is based on KDevPlatform, and the KDE and Qt libraries and is under development since 1998.

To install kdevelop, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install kdevelop
To see what files were installed by kdevelop, run:
port contents kdevelop
To later upgrade kdevelop, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade kdevelop
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
