Ipe is a drawing editor for creating figures in PDF or (encapsulated) Postscript format. It supports making small figures for inclusion into LaTeX-documents as well as making multi-page PDF presentations that can be shown on-line with Acrobat Reader.

To install ipe, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install ipe
To see what files were installed by ipe, run:
port contents ipe
To later upgrade ipe, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade ipe
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
