A command-line application to restore firmware files to iOS devices.
The idevicerestore application is a full reimplementation of all granular steps which are performed during the restore of a firmware to a device. * Download: On demand download of latest available firmware for a device
* Cache: Downloaded firmware files are cached locally

* SHSH: Fetch TSS records and save them as .shsh files

To install idevicerestore, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install idevicerestore
To see what files were installed by idevicerestore, run:
port contents idevicerestore
To later upgrade idevicerestore, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade idevicerestore
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
