Haskell-mode is a major Emacs mode for editing Haskell source code. It provides syntax highlighting and automatic indentation and comes with inf-haskell which allows interaction with an inferior Haskell interactive loop such as the one of Hugs or GHCi.

To install haskell-mode.el, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install haskell-mode.el
To see what files were installed by haskell-mode.el, run:
port contents haskell-mode.el
To later upgrade haskell-mode.el, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade haskell-mode.el
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
