Gnuplot is a command-driven interactive function plotting program. Plots any number of functions, built up of C operators, C library functions, and some things C does not have like **, sgn(), etc. Also support for plotting data files, to compare actual data to theoretical curves.

To install gnuplot, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install gnuplot
To see what files were installed by gnuplot, run:
port contents gnuplot
To later upgrade gnuplot, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade gnuplot
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
