GnuCOBOL is a free COBOL compiler, formerly known as OpenCOBOL. It implements a substantial part of the COBOL 85, COBOL 2002 and COBOL 2014 standards, as well as many extensions included in other COBOL compilers.

To install gnucobol, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install gnucobol
To see what files were installed by gnucobol, run:
port contents gnucobol
To later upgrade gnucobol, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade gnucobol
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
