GitLab Runner is the open source project that is used to run your jobs and send the results back to GitLab. It is used in conjunction with GitLab CI, the open-source continuous integration service included with GitLab that coordinates the jobs.

To install gitlab-runner, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install gitlab-runner
To see what files were installed by gitlab-runner, run:
port contents gitlab-runner
To later upgrade gitlab-runner, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade gitlab-runner
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
