This is a META port for the GNU Image Manipulation Program, GIMP, which includes support for JP2000 and RAW formats, content-aware rescaling, Gutenprint and scanner frontends and, optionally, an animation tool, the GIMP Animation Package, and an image processing and scientific visualization tool, GREYCs Magic Image Converter.

To install gimp, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install gimp
To see what files were installed by gimp, run:
port contents gimp
To later upgrade gimp, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade gimp
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
