Gerber Viewer (gerbv) is a viewer for Gerber files. Gerber files are generated from PCB CAD system and sent to PCB manufacturers as basis for the manufacturing process. The standard supported by gerbv is RS-274X.

To install gerbv, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install gerbv
To see what files were installed by gerbv, run:
port contents gerbv
To later upgrade gerbv, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade gerbv
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
