Christian Collins (GS), a GM and GS compatible SoundFont bank for composing, playing MIDI files, and retro gaming. It features 259 instrument presets and 11 drum kits, all while possessing a very low memory footprint (less than 30 MB of RAM). Due to its clever, detailed sound programming, GeneralUser GS can sound as good or better than SoundFonts that are 2-3 times its size.

To install generaluser-soundfont, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install generaluser-soundfont
To see what files were installed by generaluser-soundfont, run:
port contents generaluser-soundfont
To later upgrade generaluser-soundfont, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade generaluser-soundfont
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
