Fugu is a graphical frontend to the commandline Secure File Transfer application (SFTP). SFTP is similar to FTP, but unlike FTP, the entire session is encrypted, meaning no passwords are sent in cleartext form, and is thus much less vulnerable to third-party interception.

To install fugu, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install fugu
To see what files were installed by fugu, run:
port contents fugu
To later upgrade fugu, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade fugu
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
