Ftpmap uses program-specific fingerprints to discover the name of the software even when banners have been changed or removed, or when some featureshave been disabled. IPv6 is fully supported.

To install ftpmap, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install ftpmap
To see what files were installed by ftpmap, run:
port contents ftpmap
To later upgrade ftpmap, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade ftpmap
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
