Outline and bitmap font editor/converter for many formats
FontForge allows you to edit outline and bitmap fonts. You may create new ones or modify old ones. It is also a format converter and can interconvert between PostScript (ascii & binary Type1, some Type3, some Type0), TrueType, OpenType (Type2), CID, SVG. Previously known as pfaedit.

To install fontforge, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install fontforge
To see what files were installed by fontforge, run:
port contents fontforge
To later upgrade fontforge, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade fontforge
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
