FLANN is a library for performing fast approximate nearest neighbor searches in high dimensional spaces. It contains a collection of algorithms we found to work best for nearest neighbor search and a system for automatically choosing the best algorithm and optimum parameters depending on the dataset.

To install flann, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install flann
To see what files were installed by flann, run:
port contents flann
To later upgrade flann, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade flann
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
