The FCAT tool is used for the Coverage Analysis of FORTRAN codes. It finds out cold and hot spots mainly in F90/F95 code, but also in fixed formatted F77 FORTRAN.

To install fcat, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install fcat
To see what files were installed by fcat, run:
port contents fcat
To later upgrade fcat, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade fcat
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
