Evans has been created to use easier than other existing gRPC clients. Evans can be used for manual gRPC API inspection, or to automate some tasks via scripting. It provides a REPL and CLI mode.

To install evans, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install evans
To see what files were installed by evans, run:
port contents evans
To later upgrade evans, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade evans
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
