espanso is a privacy-first, cross-platform text expander. It detects when you type a keyword and replaces it while you are typing, with support for custom scripts, shell commands, forms, emoji, images, and installable packages from the espanso hub.

To install espanso, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install espanso
To see what files were installed by espanso, run:
port contents espanso
To later upgrade espanso, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade espanso
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
