GNU enscript is a drop-in replacement for the enscript program. Enscript converts ASCII files to PostScript and stores generated output to a file or sends it directly to the printer.

To install enscript, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install enscript
To see what files were installed by enscript, run:
port contents enscript
To later upgrade enscript, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade enscript
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
