eboard is a chess interface for Unix-like systems (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, etc.) based on the GTK+ GUI toolkit. It provides a chess board interface to ICS (Internet Chess Servers) like FICS and to chess engines like GNU Chess, Sjeng and Crafty.

To install eboard, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install eboard
To see what files were installed by eboard, run:
port contents eboard
To later upgrade eboard, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade eboard
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
