doggo is a modern command-line DNS client (like dig) written in Golang. It outputs information in a neat concise manner and supports protocols like DoH, DoT and DNSCrypt as well. It supports DNS over HTTP, DNS over TLS, DNS over TCP/UDP, DNS over DNSCrypt, as well as JSON output.

To install doggo, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install doggo
To see what files were installed by doggo, run:
port contents doggo
To later upgrade doggo, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade doggo
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
