This program encodes text configuration files which contain Configuration File Settings into binary configuration files, as specified by the DOCSIS Radio Frequency Interface Specification, Appendix C. It supports most DOCSIS 2.0 Configuration Settings.

To install docsis, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install docsis
To see what files were installed by docsis, run:
port contents docsis
To later upgrade docsis, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade docsis
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
