Dire Wolf is a software "soundcard" AX.25 packet modem/TNC and APRS encoder/decoder. It can be used stand-alone to observe APRS traffic, as a tracker, digipeater, APRStt gateway, or Internet Gateway (IGate).

To install direwolf, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install direwolf
To see what files were installed by direwolf, run:
port contents direwolf
To later upgrade direwolf, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade direwolf
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
