Bar is a simple tool to copy a stream of data and print a display for the user on stderr showing the ammount of data passed, the throughput of the data transfer, and the transfer time, or, if the total size of the data stream is known, the estimated time remaining, what percentage of the data transfer has been completed, and a progress bar.

To install clpbar, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install clpbar
To see what files were installed by clpbar, run:
port contents clpbar
To later upgrade clpbar, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade clpbar
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
