clang_select installs files that allow 'port select' to switch the default version of clang. It symlinks the standard compiler executables in the MacPorts prefix to the selected version.

To install clang_select, paste this in macOS terminal after installing MacPorts
To install clang_select, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install clang_select
To see what files were installed by clang_select, run:
port contents clang_select
To later upgrade clang_select, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade clang_select
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
