CDO is a collection of command line Operators to manipulate and analyse Climate and NWP model Data. Supported data formats are GRIB 1/2, netCDF 3/4, SERVICE, EXTRA and IEG. There are more than 600 operators available.

To install cdo, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install cdo
To see what files were installed by cdo, run:
port contents cdo
To later upgrade cdo, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade cdo
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
