The GNU ccAudio2 library is a portable C++ class framework that's useful for developing applications that must process audio. This library provides a class framework for accessing audio segments from various audio file formats (.au, .wav, etc) and for creation of audio frame buffers that are then passed to audio devices and/or DSP processing systems such as telephony cards.

To install ccaudio2, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install ccaudio2
To see what files were installed by ccaudio2, run:
port contents ccaudio2
To later upgrade ccaudio2, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade ccaudio2
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
