Boost.Jam (BJam) is a build tool based on FTJam, which in turn is based on Perforce Jam. It contains significant improvements made to facilitate its use in the Boost Build System, but should be backward compatible with Perforce Jam.

To install boost-jam, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install boost-jam
To see what files were installed by boost-jam, run:
port contents boost-jam
To later upgrade boost-jam, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade boost-jam
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
