To configure bahamut, copy ${prefix}/etc/bahamut/template.conf to ${prefix}/etc/bahamut/ircd.conf and make changes.

To create the certificate, run:

sudo ${prefix}/bin/make-cert.sh A startup item has been generated that will aid in starting bahamut with launchd. It is disabled by default. Execute the following command to start it, and to cause it to launch at startup:

sudo port load bahamut
