Autoconf is an extensible package of m4 macros that produce shell scripts to automatically configure software source code packages. These scripts can adapt the packages to many kinds of UNIX-like systems without manual user intervention. To install autoconf213, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install autoconf213
To see what files were installed by autoconf213, run:
port contents autoconf213
To later upgrade autoconf213, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade autoconf213
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
