Arla is a free AFS client implementation. The main goal of the Arla project is to make a fully functional client with all capabilities of commercial AFS. Other planned and implemented things are all the normal management tools and a server.

To install arla, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install arla
To see what files were installed by arla, run:
port contents arla
To later upgrade arla, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade arla
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
