Aften is an audio encoder which generates compressed audio streams based on ATSC A/52 specification. This type of audio is also known as AC-3 or Dolby® Digital and is one of the audio codecs used in DVD-Video content.

To install aften, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install aften
To see what files were installed by aften, run:
port contents aften
To later upgrade aften, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade aften
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
