ABYSS aims to be a fully HTTP/1.1 compliant web server. Its main design goals are speed, low resource usage and portability. ABYSS works on most UNIX based systems and on Win32 systems (Win95/98/2000/NT).

To install abyss, run the following command in macOS terminal (Applications->Utilities->Terminal)
sudo port install abyss
To see what files were installed by abyss, run:
port contents abyss
To later upgrade abyss, run:
sudo port selfupdate && sudo port upgrade abyss
Reporting an issue on MacPorts Trac
The MacPorts Project uses a system called Trac to file tickets to report bugs and enhancement requests.
Though anyone may search Trac for tickets, you must have a GitHub account in order to login to Trac to create tickets.
